Chhath Puja Celebration in Noida’s Sector 137: A Grand Festival of Faith and Unity
Noida, Sector 137 recently witnessed the vibrant celebration of Chhath Puja at Biodiversity Park. Residents gathered to honor Chhathi Maiya and offer Arghya to the Sun God, praying for family happiness and prosperity.
One of the highlights was the distribution of 200 kg of Thekua, a traditional Prasad, which was prepared with enthusiastic participation from the community. This sweet delicacy was shared among all devotees, symbolizing unity and joy.
The four-day Chhath Puja involved strict fasting and rituals, with special attention to cleanliness and safety. The Chhath Ghat was beautifully decorated, and facilities like water were arranged to ensure a smooth worship experience.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Team Volunteer 137 Noida and the Area’s Residential Associations (AOA), the event was conducted seamlessly. The final Usha Arghya ceremony on November 8, 2024, marked the event’s conclusion with Prasad distribution, graced by society dignitaries and officials.
The organising committee, including members like Ramesh Chandra Agarwal, A.K. Jha, Ravi Chandra Srivastava, Gangesh Jha, Shekhar Jha, Bhavesh Jha, Shashikant Singh, Gaurav Jha, Kumari Varsha Tiwari, Yogesh Singh, Vikas Anand, Virendra Shukla, Hemant Jha and all other members. expressed their gratitude to all volunteers and staff who supported in cleanliness and security, ensuring an inspiring and uninterrupted celebration for all.
